Cannot get new noteself.html to load

I’m a noob and have a 70 year old mind. I’m using an M1 MacBook Pro running macOS 12.1 and using Safari 15.2. I downloaded the noteself.html file on 1-9-22. I double clicked on it and it loaded just fine.

I was installing TiddlyMap and had just installed the first Tiddler, TW5-TiddlyMap (v0.17.8+10010) by dragging it and dropping it on the Safari window showing NodeSelf. I then made the mistake of trying to save it by clicking on the circled check mark in the righthand panel. Error messages from javascript appeared. When I had closed them the page was blank.

I downloaded a new copy of nodeself.html, but when I clicked on it, I got the same error messages and behavior. I tried emptying the cache and restarting Safari, but nothing I tried would allow me to get NodeSelf to work.

From passed mistakes, I think I need to delete the database, but I haven’t been able to without a working control panel in NodeSelf.

Please tell me what I need to do to get back to a working NodeSelf wiki.

Thank you.

Never mind. I did some more searching of previous questions and found something that worked, namely deleting the history and website data.

I apologize. This was my first post. Next time I will do a more extensive search.

No problem, glad you figured it out.
Usually the HTML file should take care of upgrading the DB, but it is not infalible
